This is not my real face..
First of all, i have a red dress, my very first, i think, which is kind of a big deal for me, being President of the Black Outfit Forever Council, Lagos chapter.
Secondly, i was slightly faux-insulted when my friends saw me in this outfit and went oohing and ah-ahn-ing over how decent i looked.
Guys, it's 'see finish' that has caused this, because i know that i look 'decent' most of the time. Anyway they say that a prophet is not valued in his hometown, so, wha-evurr.
Thirdly, i find it amusing when people get surprised that my legs are not deformed in anyway when they see me in short outfits! lol.
I get it, i wear mostly pants so people don't get to see my legs that much, if ever. I'm only trying to not die from mosquito bites on these streets and pants are just so hassle-free man!.
To the matter at hand, a bold mono-colored outfit such as this is one way to make a style impact without trying too hard.
For any woman, apart from the holy-grail LBD (Little Black Dress), a LD (Little Dress) in any other solid color is a piece to own in your wardrobe. If for nothing else, the endless possibilities for styling and accessorizing them.
I especially like this red one that i am wearing here because of the cut, which is a little structured with a flattering, subtle A-line flare from the waist down.
Plus, red is a very striking shade on dark skin, be it in lipstick, nail polish or in this case, a dress.
And that's it!.
Photos were by my boo Nse.
BTW guys, i am still offering FREE PHOTOGRAPHY & EDITING FOR BLOGGERS, so if you are a blogger, in Lagos and interested in this offer, send me an email!
