Taking Stock: 04.

Hi guys!
So, not a lot has happened since my last check-in, but these constant evaluations and introspection are important not only for clarity, but also for objectivity, i think.
Kind of like the counting your blessings or gratefulness exercises..
Here goes-
Makingnew outfits. I got tired of seeing my numerous fabrics lying around my cubicle (i.e apartment/room), and decided to haul them all to my tailor to get sewn. My wallet gauge is low and my anxiety level is high. Tailors, hairdressers, painters, electricians and i hear, mechanics are part of life's evils, let me tell you.
Cooking'concoction' rice. This is a chill, minimalist version of the famous Jollof Rice.
Eating: pancakes every other weekend now. i just learnt how to make them (don't judge) and i am obsessed. Looking up different types and recipes are my new favorite pastime
Drinking: Water mostly.
Reading: about making daily routines.
Wanting: to travel soon. To any place. i'm getting desperate. And to become rich too.
Looking: at my fashion magazine binder. And feeling nostalgic about the days past when i had real zest for these things.
Deciding: to start saving money more actively. Signed-up for an automatic saving system. Thank God.
Wishingi can get back on my fitness track. Fat is crap.

Enjoying: nothing really. One of the worst phases to be in, not being able to find joy in things around you.
Waiting: To fall in love. Kidding. Not waiting.
Consideringthe idea of probably getting my second and last (for real, LAST) ink...
Hopingthat i break even and have life smile on me soon.
Marvelingat Adaku of ThirdWorldProfashional's move to Equatorial Guinea for a job that she happened upon on LinkedIn. The strangest things happen in life. Miracles exist, so believe and keep your eyes open.
Cringing: at the panic that is happening over Instagram's coming change. If i never see another "Please turn on notifications" post...
Needing: A break and a massage.
Questioning: God about where my life is going.
Smelling: Rihanna's 'Nude' fragrance. Going back to get it.
Wearingwigs. Just some days a week. i hate it, but i wanted a change while my hair grows out.
FollowingTravel Noire , Asiyami Gold & Solphie Milner on Instagram . Hashtag, Love.
Thinking: about my future seriously.
Admiring: travel photos from all around the world
Coveting: a truly zen, fully-minimalist lifestyle.
Giggling: at nothing. I miss being able to giggle.
FeelingFrustrated, tired and like i am lagging behind on things. Again. A real roller-coaster. Plus i'm bored. so bored.
Snacking: on Oxford's Cabin Biscuits. Classic thing.
Helping: out in a magazine project in the office.

Thanking: God for keeping my parents. I'm really grateful.

Bonus: I just discovered the originator of the 'Taking Stock' posts. God bless Meet Me At Mikes !

  3. Hi,

Recently, I’ve seen “Taking Stock”posts on a good number of blogs. I like it the idea of it.

It’s an interesting way to share what one has been up to and what the plan to achieve. It also gives a glimpse of one's personality. From this post, I can tell you are an articulate person with a great sense of humour. :-)

Ah! I wish I could drink more water, get a break and a massage. Lol

    Have a great week.

    1. Hi Nedoux!
Can i refer to you as Nedu? Because right now i am 'pronouncing' Nedoux the french way, like 'Nay-dough', you know? ok, i'll stop now..

Thanks so much for reading! The massage thing is now a must-have, my literal and figurative muscles are in dire need of stimulation..
