Hey beauty lovers and M.A.C cosmetics fans, there's just been an announcement that M.A.C cosmetics is launching a new collection called #GirlBoss, in collaboration with gutsy fashion retail brand Nasty Gal.
The collection will have four must-have makeup pieces including three lipsticks and one nail polish, all appropriately named Stunner, a rich matte red lipstick, Runner, a bold burgundy, and Gunner, a fierce purple. The nail lacquer is Flaming Rose, which is a classic rich red.

The M.A.C X Nasty Gal #GirlBoss collection will be available for sale from December 1st, 2014 to January 1st, 2015.

The much-anticipated fall collection from H&M in collaboration with Alexander Wang is out and it is a fiesta of Wang's signature urban-minimal-sporty ideals but with a scuba/sporty/energetic vibe. The pieces and accessories are basically perfect for the fearless and young-at-heart.
That the collection leans to the dark side in color is a plus for me.
See the lookbook-

Minimal, clean and dark with a punch. I like it.

The fashion world has lost one of it's great icons and talents Oscar De La renta, who passed away yesterday in his home in Connecticut, U.S.A, his family says. He was 82 years old.
The Dominican Republic-born designer through-out his life worked with some other legendary designers like Balenciaga and Lanvin before starting his own label in 1965 and later rising to fashion fame in the U.S. for dressing the very popular former FLOTUS Jacqueline Kennedy.
Since then, celebrities and women of style from various walks of life have worn the regal, show-stopping master-pieces that is Mr. De La renta's creations.
He was diagnosed with cancer some years ago, but the official cause-of-death is yet to be stated.
His family released a statement saying-
"While our hearts are broken by the idea of life without Oscar, he's still very much with us. Oscar's hard work, his intelligence and his love of life are at the heart of our company. We will make Oscar very proud of us by continuing in an even stronger way the work that Oscar loved so much"
See some of his genius works-

Oscar De La renta was a favorite go-to label for a lot of celebs, brides and very notably, some very fashionable U.S First Ladies.

He will be missed. Condolences to his family.

The Genevieve Magazine annual Pink Ball organised to raise awareness and treatment funds for Breast Cancer patients held this past Sunday in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The dress code was, of course, pink, the color of breast cancer awareness, and all our favorite celebrities came out in their numbers and slayed with their best pink ensembles.

Most of the ladies looked really nice and i particularly loved the fact that they wore mostly Nigerian design labels including LDA, FnR, Toju Foyeh, April by Kunbi, etc. That's progress!.
Now to the verdicts, my best dressed goes to Osas Ighodaro. She kept to the color and theme of the event and looked flawless while at it. Tonye Garrick and Liz Yemoja come a close second.
Worst dressed is between Fade Ogunro and Stephanie Linus. I was there at the event and those ladies didn't look better even in real life.
The other ladies didn't look too shabby, except for those ones that felt that they couldn't find a pink(ish) outfit *side-eye at Ugonna Umeruo*.
The event was an overall success, it was fun and i'm rather pleasantly surprised that my neck didn't fall off from all the gawking and looking i did that night, the guests were that dazzling.
Oh i wasn't dolled-up enough to take a photo of myself, maybe next time:).
That's it for me.
Who was your best and worst dressed?
